Why Rung Finance

What you get when the course is designed for you

Every element of our programmes was shaped by the specific needs of midlife learners in Thailand — not adapted from something else.

Core Advantages

Six things that shape how we teach

These are not marketing points. They are the practical decisions that affect what your learning experience actually feels like.

Paced for your stage of life

Sessions are structured to be absorbed without pressure. There is time between topics to let things settle — because that is how adults actually learn.

Built for Thailand specifically

Thai banking, Thai pension structures, Thai tax basics. We teach the system you are actually in, not a theoretical international framework.

Plain language throughout

Every term is explained before it is used. We do not assume prior knowledge, and we do not hide behind jargon to appear more credible.

Small cohorts, real dialogue

Groups are kept deliberately small. You can ask anything, return to earlier points, and learn in an environment where questions are expected, not exceptions.

Education, not sales

We are not affiliated with any bank, fund, or financial product. Nothing we teach is shaped by a commercial arrangement. What you hear is what we genuinely believe is worth knowing.

Materials you keep and use

Printed guides, worksheets, and planning notebooks are included in every programme. Something tangible to carry the learning forward after sessions end.

In More Detail

What each benefit means in practice

Educators with real backgrounds

Our team has worked in adult education and Thai community banking for a combined total of over twenty-five years. They have seen the actual questions that people in their forties and fifties carry — questions about pension transfers, about what happens to savings during illness, about the difference between types of fixed deposit.

That experience shapes the curriculum. The things we cover are the things that come up again and again in real life, not the things that happen to appear in a textbook.

What this means for you

  • Questions are answered by people who understand the Thai financial system, not by reading from a script
  • Course materials reflect what actually matters at this life stage, not a generic syllabus
  • When something falls outside the scope of education, you are told clearly and directed to the right type of professional

The seasonal pacing model

  • Each programme is divided into distinct levels — one topic area per session
  • Sessions are scheduled with spacing between them so new ideas have time to land
  • Recorded replays are available for Building the Terraces and Full Harvest participants
  • A check-in is built into the longer programmes to adjust for where each group has arrived

A structure that breathes

Financial topics can feel dense. Our programmes are structured to avoid that compression — one level at a time, with space built in for questions, reflection, and return visits to earlier material.

The pacing is deliberate. A concept introduced in week two will come back in week four in a different form — not to test you, but because repetition through different angles is how things actually become useful knowledge.

Responsive, not scripted

Before each cohort begins, we ask participants to share what they most want to understand by the end. Those answers shape how the sessions unfold — the examples we use, the time we spend on each area, and the order in which we approach topics.

We also make Siriporn, our programme coordinator, available by email and phone between sessions for scheduling queries and any practical questions about materials or attendance.

Support throughout

  • Pre-programme survey to understand each cohort's starting point
  • Email contact available during and after the programme
  • Midway check-in included in the two longer programmes
  • Post-programme feedback welcomed and acted on

What's included at each level

  • ฿4,300 — All sessions, printed guide, practice sheets, group setting
  • ฿7,200 — Six weeks, recorded lessons, planning notebook, midway check-in
  • ฿9,900 — Ten weeks, personal planning folder, closing reflection, full recorded access
  • No hidden fees, no upselling during the programme

Clear pricing, nothing hidden

The price of each programme covers everything included in it. There are no additional materials to purchase, no recommended products, and no consultations that appear mid-programme with a separate fee attached.

We are also willing to discuss payment arrangements for the longer programmes — just reach out and we'll find an approach that works.

What Sets Us Apart

Things you will not find elsewhere in the same combination

The seasonal pacing framework

Our programmes follow a "one season at a time" model — a structured pacing approach we developed based on how midlife learners actually process new financial concepts. It is not a weekend course or a packed seminar.

A landing summary after each set of topics

At the close of each session group, participants receive a short written summary of the key points in plain language. This is designed to be kept — not filed away, but referred to when a real situation calls for it.

A clear line between education and advice

We name this distinction openly in every programme and hold to it consistently. Learners leave knowing exactly what kind of understanding they have built and when they need to take a question further.

A community of same-stage learners

When everyone in the room is at a similar life stage, the conversation changes. Questions that might feel embarrassing in a mixed-age group become natural and shared. Our cohorts build a quiet sense of solidarity.
